Getting to CAIS 2026
Welcome to the 2026 California Infrastructure Symposium! To help you prepare, we’ve put together clear and convenient travel guidance for attendees coming from all across California. Whether you’re flying, driving, or taking the train, getting to the CAIS venue is easy and stress-free.
- Rideshare/Taxi: 8–12 minutes depending on terminal and traffic
- Hotel Shuttle: The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Francisco Airport South offers periodic complimentary shuttles—please check the hotel’s current schedule when booking.
- Rental Car: All major rental agencies available at SFO; easy 10-minute drive to the hotel or conference center.
- OAK – Oakland International Airport: ~35–45 minutes (traffic dependent)
- SJC – San José Mineta International Airport: ~45–60 minutes
- Take US-101 North
- Exit at South Airport Blvd
- Follow signs for the conference center and adjacent hotels
- Take US-101 South
- Exit at South Airport Blvd
- The venue will be immediately accessible
- On-site parking at the Conference Center
- Additional parking available at nearby hotels
- Daily parking rates vary depending on venue policies—please check the CAIS attendee packet closer to the event date
- Closest Station: South San Francisco Station
- The station is approximately 1.3 miles from the Conference Center
- Rideshare services and taxis are easily available from the station
- Travel time examples:
- San Mateo → South San Francisco: ~15 minutes
- Burlingame → South San Francisco: ~10 minutes
- San Jose → South San Francisco: ~55 minutes
- San Francisco (4th & King) → South San Francisco: ~12 minutes
- Nearest Station: San Bruno Station (about 2 miles away)
- BART is especially convenient if you’re coming from East Bay counties such as Alameda or Contra Costa
- Rideshare/taxi recommended from the station to the venue or hotel
